Dr. Hans-Jürgen Riese, initiator and founder of the DR. RIESE GRUPPE has always had business ethics supported by all of his employees, regarding a residence as more than just a roof over your head, more than just running water and central heating. Consciously laying out the emotional aspects of a residence, aside from the modern comforts you will always find character, warmth, closeness and identity. Not only are physical needs fulfilled, but also the senses, a reason why people particularly like to turn to the charm of older buildings.

In every society a roof over your head is seen by most people as one of the most crucial basic needs. So it’s no wonder that in no other area of life are social responsibilities associated with ownership as thoroughly regulated as with residences.

Yet we strongly believe that especially when it comes to projects associated with the development, construction, renovation and sale of properties, no matter how well the law attempts to strike a sometimes much needed balance between the different interests, it’s no match for a personal relationship between all parties marked by mutual respect.

This is why since founding the company group in 1979 we have always paid great attention not only to create values in the material sense. And we’re proud that even in situations which where not so easy we did not deviate from this path. We were fortunate to learn that in the long term this business knowledge has been much more profitable in the material sense than going after quick success - most importantly for all of our customers, and ultimately also for us.
